SHOWERING THE BABY

This month I was blessed to have 2 baby showers that were both amazing! I was very pleased with how beautifully everything came out for our woodlands themed shower. They were extremely stressful to plan and execute but in the end it was worth the smiles, the laughter, and the joy that filled our home on both occasions. My husband and I have wonderful people in our lives that are so excited about our new addition.

The first shower was a bit more formal and structured. Most of my friends attended that one as well as a few older family members, old coworkers, and my mother-in-law flew in for it too. We decided to take a more laid back approach for the second shower where my husband’s friends were the main attendants. We barbecued for that one.

All in all, everyone had a wonderful time, which made me very happy. And now, the count down is officially on! We are only 8 weeks away from the due date and we’re so anxious to meet our precious little angel.
