WHERE WE ATE IN SEASIDE

As the primary chef of my home, one of the best parts of vacation having someone else do the cooking. I love being in the kitchen but a break is always welcomed. Though I did cook a few meals at the beach house in Florida, I enjoyed not having the responsibility of preparing all the meals. There are a variety of great places to eat in Seaside. There were several places I wanted to try. We couldn’t hit them all but we did thoroughly enjoy the restaurants we visited. Here’s what we ate.

The Meltdown

On the low end, we call it grilled cheese. On the high end, it’s Oh-My-God-Cheesy-Deliciousness. The Meltdown is roadside eatery that serves up a variety of gooey grilled cheese sandwiches. I had the Cuban and my husband had the Smoked Turkey Club. Both were absolutely delicious.

Raw And Juicy Life

Refreshing and all natural, Raw and Juicy Life will hit the spot on a hot summer day. I played it safe with a raspberry slush that was awesome. My husband took a risk and tried a ginger lime coconut water with a shot of unfiltered sake. He loved it.

Bud & Alley’s

With great views of the beach and even greater food, Bud and Alley’s was the perfect breakfast stop for our group of 6 (+ baby Asher). And they serve more than just breakfast. Their menu boasts a pizza bar and taco bar in addition to their lunch and dinner menus. If we’re ever in the area again, I’ll be sure to give that taco bar a try! We ordered a variety of breakfasts foods. From sweet potato pancakes, to omelettes, to salmon bagels, it was all delicious. My chicken and waffle was perfection!

Barefoot BBQ

Offering a variety of barbecued meats, sides, drinks, and 4 signature sauces, Barefoot BBQ is sure to please. My husband and I ordered the bucket of ribs with Hang Ten sauce to go while we had a little time to ourselves. They were tender and perfectly cooked. The flip flop that they gave us with our order number was the cutest touch!
