DECORATING FOR FALL

It has been quite a while since I last posted on the blog but I’m easing my way back in with this new post where I share all of my fall decor with you. I’m not big on Halloween decor so my fall decorations carry me through October and November. The fall decor that I have has really made my home so cozy this season. The colors, the shapes and the textures all came together so nicely. The best part is that it didn’t take much time, effort or money. Keep scrolling to see my fall decor and get inspired if you’re looking to bring that festive fall touch to your own home!

For my entryway table I have this beautiful lantern that I purchased from Walmart last year for an event I planned. At the time, I was looking for a vase but couldn’t find the right one. I saw the lantern and knew it would work for the faux flowers I was decorating with. Though, I wouldn’t recommend using a lantern if you prefer real flowers because it’s not made to hold water.

The pumpkins and wooden wall plaque I also purchased from Walmart for super cheap. The flowers are from Dollar Tree.

In the living room are these gorgeous burnt orange pillows that I picked up from Burlington. I paired them with a set of white and black pillows I purchased from Target a couple of years ago. The orange pillows add a nice pop or color in the living room and really bring forth the fall vibe I was looking for. The white and black pillows compliment my rug and tie in with the black and white pumpkins I used in decorating the kitchen and dining table centerpiece.

For the dining table I created a bright fall centerpiece with a lovely straw pumpkin that I found at Burlington. It’s a pretty nice sized pumpkin so I just added a few fall details around it to complete the look. The leaves, berries, and acorns are all one piece that I purchased from the floral section of  Dollar Tree. There are two of them in my centerpiece.

I also placed a few smaller pumpkins around the straw pumpkin. My plaid pumpkins came from the dollar section of Target and the yellow and orange pumpkins are from Walmart. The two smaller lanterns I purchased from Walmart at the same time I purchased the large one in the entryway. The candles are from Dollar Tree.

I really liked this “Hello Pumpkin” sign from Target. I wasn’t quite sure where I’d put it but I knew it would find a place somewhere in the kitchen. I first put it on the counter but it didn’t do anything special there. When I placed it atop the stove it fit the space just right.

The fall leaf garland brought everything together in the perfect way. The bright orange and red screams fall in every way. I picked them up at Hobby Lobby for $10 each.

Hopefully, you’ve gotten inspired to do your own fall decorating if you haven’t done so already. Decorating doesn’t have to be daunting or super expensive. And your home doesn’t have to look like it belongs in a magazine. Just a few touches here and there can really transform your every day space into something fun and festive.
