The New “Norm”
Last weekend my girlfriends and I got together for what we called “Cul-De-Sac & Chill”. Basically, everyone parked their car in the cul-de-sac in front of one of the girls’ house and set up shop in the trunk of their SUV…from a safe distance, of course. We all brought food and drinks for ourselves so it was a bona fide quarantine-style girl’s night. I’m the only one with a sedan so I hung out of the window like Ace Ventura with a big grin. Wow! What journey 30 has been! I will never forget this year and all the transformation it brought along with it. Shortly after my 30th birthday I stopped creating content on all my platforms and ditched social media for several months to focus on finding peace and happiness. We all know those people that are Christmas fanatics. They start pulling out Christmas décor on the first of October. Forget Halloween and Thanksgiving. MY 30TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
A week ago today, I turned 30 years old. Man! Thirty years old! My twenties were awesome and taught me so much about life. I’m actually a teensy bit sad to see them go. As far as my thirties go, I don’t have any huge goals or expectations. At this point, I just want to take it day by day and see where that gets me.
